Re: Stejcraft boats

They used to make a pretty good ski boat 20+ years ago, that's all I know. I've seen them at a couple of shows now and they look VERY well priced but I get the feeling the cabin boats are built up from the ski boat hull, very low sidewalls from looking at them but maybe that's just me.

Anyone heard anything good/bad about this model?? They look sh*t hot mate wouldn’t mind picking one up myself, ticks a...

Re: Lowrance fish reveal

I downloaded onto a micro sd card. Then you put the card in, turn on the unit and follow the promts, it takes you through an auto set up process, very easy. This auto set up only works once though, I tired to do a mates sounder with the same sd card and it wouldn't work a second time.

Re: Lowrance fish reveal

I've really liked the update and find myself running slit screen with regular sonar and downscan with fish reveal on the other side. Using both these really helps distinguish the difference between structure and fish, it's been great.

Re: whos fishing this queens birthday long leekend?

I didn't see any fisheries at Altona, didn't see many fish either, lol. We got on the water at 7.30am and searched for salmon, fished for squid and bait fished for snaps and flatties till about 6pm. Squid were easy enough to find and catch but no sign of salmon all day. We hit up T2, P2 and P3 area...

Re: whos fishing this queens birthday long leekend?

Taking my boys out off Altona tomorrow to have some fun chasing a bit of everything. I'd love to get them onto some salmon, I've rigged up 3-6kg outfits for them so we should have a ball if we find them.
