Re: Lake Elizabeth
Hi Texas, it was $27 per night. Unpowered, tent only, no cars at the campground, super quite. We loved it. Hi Benders, signs in the area said it was formed in early 50's by landslides after heavy rains. Given trout were downstream from the lake, would it be possible they had come from further up? No...

Lake Elizabeth
Hi all, just returned from a few days camping with the family up at Lake Elizabeth in the Otways. Had the chance to flick a lure around for a little while with no success but I'm convinced the place has potential. Had the kids and Mrs with me so was a little pushed for time, and unable to really exp...

For boat, it's like a lucky charm. I think it's 20lb mono, same paternoster that I put on when I bought it 6years ago, I think it's like a 3 hook and big snapper sinker to drop it straight down. I just pull it up now and then and it's usually got something on it. If I ever get onto anything big? Rec...

Re: Docklands
Hi Fishingrookie. Thanks for asking. No luck, that's why i didn't post a report. But it's not a bad spot to kick back and have a few cold ones on a Friday night. Great views.

Re: Gippsland Blackfish
Great read, thanks for posting. Coming from up north I'm not familiar with blackfish. Are they a species which was once more common? Or are they a southern name for something which is more widespread? Cheers again.

Wow, an amazing report from a part of the world that few of us probably ever consider. And thanks for the pics as well. What a mission just getting there!
