Couldn’t be bothered heading offshore this week, so yesterday took kids camping for the night over at Bunga, went surf fishing managed to land 2 salmon in an hour for bait for gumbos later that night. You are all right about hire boats but these blow ins on holidays don’t know how to follow channel markers or witch side they should be entering and exiting port especially one at a time crossing bar.......

So if you are down for Easter and need an idea where to go. Pipeline 26mtrs has been ok, a bit patchy you need to put the time in. We tried the tower on the beach for a gummy or flatty, it was lunchtime by the time we went there and did no good. However if you are down early over Easter it might be...

Fishing for crays is easy and cheap I just buy liver out of supermarket and a fishing landing net, tie piece of live to som3 good string around it throw in water and make shore you tie the line to something solid that a cray can’t take of with bait, leave it in water an half to an hour and check it ...

Well done!!! salmon can be cooked all different ways it just depends on which way you like it cooked.
