Re: How do you cook your fish?
I cooked a whole pinkie the other night. Stuffed the body and deep body cuts with spring onions, ginger, garlic, kaffir lime, splash of soy and fish sauce. Wrap and make a pouch with baking paper. I use a stapler. Put in a pre-heated oven for 20min or so. Serve with steamed coconut rice...awesome!

“It is illegal to hatch, grow, hold, buy, sell or transport any noxious aquatic species,” Mr Dowling said “In Victoria, noxious aquatic species include koi carp alongside other well-known freshwater fish such as common carp, mosquito fish, oriental weather loach, tilapia and cichlids. Re: Two jig rigs - worth a try?
The trailer plastic can be attached via a short leader from the main jig and be weightless i.e just on a hook or have one on a dropshot rig and a weighted jig on the bottom instead of a dropshot lead.

Re: Werribee River
I'm not sure if that was a very legal thing to do,deliberately letting a carp run ,and happened to get snagged. My apologies if i'm wrong. Im in big trouble if you can get fined for every fish you hook and then loose. I do not think the op was deliberately trying to loose the fish so that he would ...

Re: Latch on trailer coupling broke off. Some questions
Thanks for the replies peeps. Yes it look like it was rusted. I noticed when putting on the new coupling there is a big spring underneath. I should have greased it first. But there is a nipple to put a grease gun. I will try this.
