Re: Strike Tiger sp problems

They woud have sat dormant in my tackle box for a few months, so not gonna go the zman trailer path unfortunately as they are great SPs Just pop a bit of the skirt you we...

Re: Gunnamatta beach 8/6/19

Yeah, light gear for spinning and keep moving. I get bored just soaking baits personally & enjoy the buzz of hooking sambos on lures, although off there I prefer going heavier on the lure than 28. How big/heavy would you go? 40gm? I used 28gm because my rod ideal lure weight is only up to 35gm. It'...

Re: Tuna Oil Subsitutes?

I'm assuming you're talking for lures since you mentioned procure.

Personally I would just stick with the procure, it stays on lures extremely well. An oil based product is going to just disperse extremely quickly and just leave you with an unscented lure for later casts.

Re: Freezing Marysville

Nice work seb, I find you comment on lures interesting. Especially late and early season with high water levels and fish that are a bit less active I find lure choice matters a lot more as well as cast accuracy. Not saying that cheap lures won't catch fish but lures with certain actions certainly o...

Re: Trout lures/flies discussion

The only area where I consider myself experienced when it comes to trout is small streams. Lately for lures I've been running the Daiwa DR minnow as my first choice and then vary the colour with conditions. However, a big part of the reason I did the lure challenge vid was to show that in small stre...

Re: Edge rods.

Been around for a little while now Jim. There's a great story to go with the company and how Gary Loomis got brought back into the rod making industry on a video along with an explanation of the spiral guides on the bait cast model. Haven't been fortunate enough to fish with one but everyone I know ...
