Re: Cornacarpio's Cumulative Carp Culling Caper

The 2017/18 carp account is now officially (and finally) open! On this glorious day I decided to head down to the creek, as I wasn't too tired from the night before, unlike yesterday (from work, not froffies). I have had a few previous failed attempts this last week or two and had nothing but stale ...

Re: Ohhh ... We're from Tigers Land .. 2017

I am with you mick no way was dusty best on ground just hype for the fairytail ending to the season Bachar was very good early on when the game was 'on'. Probably needed a another goal or two in the second half to win the medal. Rance was very good and I was surprised to learn he only had 11 dispos...

Re: Night Carp Fishing

OK, needless to say, my curiosity was well and truly piqued at the mention of TNA, so I couldn't help but head out there and have a bit of a look-see. Of course I packed my rod 'just in case', but it was no use - not even a bite in the bottom pond (which was recently dry) in over an hour. I think it...

Re: Night Carp Fishing

btw anybody seen TNA lately, have they finished the upgrade ???? Yep, I'm also interested in this question. I'm still in hybernation mode. Carp are pretty simple to catch, bread and corn are my 'go to' baits, with bread being the preferred option in urban waterways. GC can be a challenging waterway...

Re: Kororoit Creek Estuary Bream Fishing Tips by Fish-Hunter

I used to ride along there on my way to Cherry Lake. I only once saw someone fishing there. And I also used to see a lot of snakes along the bike path in summer...

Keep it going mate. Unfortunately I've packed up the rods and will go into hibernation mode during the winter (like a big Carp). I will start heading out again when winter passes!

Re: Cornacarpio's Eclectic Estuarine Escapades

A few more "Toothies" from the 'Nong today (and a Toady and a bloody big Goby). This spot reminds me so much of a 'special spot' I used to fish in the Wimmera River when I was a kid, when there seemed to be a few more species about besides Reddies and Carp (Yellowbelly, Silver Perch, Catfi...
