Thanks guys, I did take a gamble trying this little tannin stream too.. it was really rewarding when I found it did have trout in it as well, though I think just about every little stream or creek that flows into the main river systems here all have trout in them. That they do Anth, I really love fishing these waters too..

as tight as the fishing can be and often tough on the body, it's always an enjoyable trip. Even better when you know that no one else has fished them.

Thanks guys.. Mick the trout get that dark golden colour from being in the tannin water, some rivers down here are that colour all year round.
It's caused by leaves, bark etc that's in the river.. has a nice taste to it as well..
