Re: Removing restrictions on trout.

O K I,ll have a go. Everytime this subject comes up ( and it is a serial) I have a chuckle. Trout are here to stay whether they are stocked or not and nothing, nothing will change that. The veiws that are always put forward against them are pretty much the same and are surely made by those who have...

Re: MACCAS

Let's hope they wake up to the situation and get a restocking program up and running again, would be a real shame to see them completely disappear...
Maybe Bill Classon could do another write up on them, perhaps this will wake them up once again..

Meppstas's Pirtek Challenge Report 2017..

Finally a decent size trout for the Pirtek Fishing Challenge 2017. 19-3-17 It was a perfect morning to start off my spin session chasing a decent size brown trout to enter in the Pirtek Fishing Challenge today. Overcast and a little humid with hardly a breath of wind, just how I like it. Headed up t...

Late spin session worth the effort...

Late spin session worth the effort. 17-3-17 One very unlucky dung beetle.. 17-3-7 (Medium).JPG With a very light Easterly breeze blowing I was in two minds all day whether to go and have a session on the river or not. Finally around 3:00pm I decided I would go for a late spin session after all. I wa...

Re: Weekend at Greencape

Great report & photos Dougie, certainly a beautiful area to fish too.. Doesn't take much to make it unsafe for rock fishing that's for sure.

The forecast was for a cool m...
