Thats a good point, didnt think of that. might have to wet the mat prior to placing fish on it.

1/0 is big for a 2inch grub. you want a size 2. your choice in jighead weight is fine, a little lighter would be nice but then you wouldn't get the cast distance. the trout like it moving anyway so it's not a big deal. bream will take a 2 inch grub no worries as will all of the species available at ...
