My mate just recently installed a lowrance hook 2 4x sounder in his kayak, mounted in hull with selleys all clear. Took it out today and was getting these images, and the sonar was unusable. The gps function of the fish finder worked as it should. Any ideas? air bubbles?

I fish around Hearn, have had great success in the past despite the creek being open many of those times. Oh well

I've been down between 4-30 and 6 every night between sunday and know and have not caught one squid. Perfect flat conditions but no squid, and i haven't seen anyone else catch one. Where have they gone??

reasonably small 30-40cm isn, with the biggest just pushing the 40cm mark

Went down for 20mins with the dog, got 5 in 7 casts before leaving because it was dark, good fun
