Question about rope
I recently bought a lewmar 1000 pro fish anchor winch and have two options on what rope I can fit it with, either 3 plat nylon rope or the 8 plat. I have heard that the 8 plat rope is better but is worth more and would like to get someone's opinion if the extra $$ is worth it. Cheers Aussie

Re: King Parrot Creek...
Drifting worms with a orange bead above it will probably be your best bet at a rich if it's as dirty as others have said. But if your dead set on lures rapala cd5s work well in trout patterns.

Yeah I was sure it wasn't a normal flying gaff, just wanted to check. At least I got two good gaffs for a nice price.

Re: pike / snook
I seem to Catch them when I don't target them, when I do actually try to get one I never can. Catch them on metal blades 100mm . Anything smaller there not really interested.

Curious about Gaff Mann flying gaff?
Just purchased 2 gaffs off eBay, one a normal gaff and the second a flying gaff ( apparently). I am certain the normal gaff is a gaff Mann and not a dodgy rip off but not really sure about flying gaff. Flying gaff is a screw on, so not sure if this is just a real old gaff or I've been ripped off. An...
Re: Berley
Have used it for both freshwater and salt water, in the berley bucket it just soaks water up and clogs it up, even if it gets chucked in it just floats and doesn't disperse or anything, and haven't found it attracts anything besides carp.
