Bad luck trumpeter I am bringing my boat back to portarlington Wednesday after fitting the new anchor winch. The weather doesn’t look to flash after Wednesday. Hopefully I will get a chance to get out on the water

I normally use 2 green glow beads on my 2 hook rigs this year I have gone for 4 inches of glowing red tube just above the hooks I think it will look like either a pilchard entrails or a worm. I have made equal amounts using the green and the red to see if there is any preference.

I am also big on glow beads normally I use the green ones. This year I am trying something different it still glows but it’s not green. In the uk they are big on beads and sequins flashy things. I think you can get one where they are on there side not on there top or bottom which would reduce the width

It’s close but it misses by 0.250 I was scared of that so I tied a piece of string from the empty winch spool to the bow spit roller.
