Trolling sinkers

Decided to use the sinker grip sinker moulds to make some trolling sinkers for kingfish. As they are aerodynamic in shape they should be perfect.

I made 8 100grams and 8 150grams.

Re: Deck hand tomorrow(friday)

Unfortunately I couldn't get a deckie and I launched anyway, got as far as the fair way bouy, it was a little sloppy and I could see birds working further out, but it needed someone to control the boat whilst the other landed the fish. Ended up going over to Flinders and sounded some nice arches. T...

On a seperate note I am looking for a productive land based spot to fish over the weekend and hopefully catch some flatties or whiting. Ive seen members mention cunningham pier and sorrento, was wondering if anyone can vouch for these or suggest anything better and also the preferred tides for the ...

Deck hand tomorrow(friday)

I am leaving Hastings at about 7 or 8 am.

Target species is Kingfish, and it looks like I need a deck hand as my usual on/off deckhands are off.

Inbox, and I will possibly be heading out again on Sat.
