Re: Jervis Bay Assistance Required
If you Google "The Banks Kingfish Jervis Bay" you will find plenty of info fishing the banks area. It is not too far North of Jervis Bay Heads. Thanks, just watched a couple of videos on the area, looks like more rat kingies in the tubes and the better size kingies are at the banks, got the marks :)

Re: Jervis Bay Assistance Required
Just park directly in front of whoever is fishing on the rocks after driving over their balloons. Take a helmet. But no seriously I have no idea about boat based, if you want to try LBG stuff shoot me a PM. Hehe, have done some LBG stuff recently, definately won't be going close to those guys, i kn...

Jervis Bay Assistance Required
Taking a boat up to Jervis Bay in early February for a few days. Boat is quite capable, targeting Kingies.. The 'research' has begun, punching through as many articles i can find through the search function and through Google. Thought i'd also ask the members if they have any personal experience the...

Re: BCF ads.
The song is annoying but my little one loves it when it comes on.. No longer enjoy shopping online, too many bad experiences. I like to go have a browse at BCF, any warehouse full of fishing stuff is growse to look at, shop there occasionally if they have a big special on, must agree though - servic...

Rather then snap off trebles you can buy w hooks or single hooks and swap them over with split nose, you might have known that already but i personally wouldn't bother with breaking trebles.. & i find that unless the spool is very empty, slight variations in 'fullness' shouldn't have a major impact....

Re: BCF/ANACONDA Branded Fishing Apparel-why?
Cant speak on behalf of everyone but id imagine most that are wearing wouldn't really put that much thought into it.. Any advertising would be on a mynute scale.. It's probably just because its light, uv resistant, breathable, sometimes on special and most ''un-researched'' wouldnt find similar clot...

Re: Clifton springs 8th oct
Hi Nudeup,
Was there on Saturday, full house again on the turn, anchored away from the boats, no reds, few flatties and squid for the trip.. Most the other boats at the ramp had similar results, didnt see a red. Apparently, Friday night they were on the chew..

Re: Telescopic Rods
I use the 9' Shimano Beastmaster Travel and its never let me down, trialled a few telescopic and never found one that had the same feel. From memory it was quite cheap too. I found the 9' to be quite versatile too, light spinning off the rocks, piers, etc..

Re: Hiring of fishing and camping gear
Great idea to help people out but i do see you encountering a lot of problems.. You'll probably end up making a few bucks until one thing goes wrong and you'll end up losing all of your profit.. No one's going to pay a big bond for hire and then someone will end up damaging or losing something that'...
