There's a bargain Wavedance Kingfisher with cart and paddle on Facebook atm for a mere $325, which seems a bargain...
If you're on FB, go to market place and search for "Kayak 4.1m wavedance"
No connection to me btw...
Cheers,
Mike.

The resident big sting-rays have an early xmas pressie!
Bad luck, but (as you say) it means you get a new combo!

Spotlighting: 12V SLA battery - use Li-ion instead?
Hi guys, I've been using a 7.2Ah 12V SLA battery for spotlighting for a few years and it's nearing the end of its life. Before I buy a new SLA I was wondering if it's possible you use a Lithium Ion battery pack instead? Aside from the weight-saving, are there any other advantages to using a Li-ion b...

Re: Wind from the East fish the least, wind from the West fish the best!
Hey, I recently went out two consecutive nights (actually bloody early in the morning!) to fish land-based at high tide... First night, an easterley popped-up before I could wet a bait. Two and a half hours later - not a fish, not even the ever-present toadies... Following night, a nice light SW. Hi...

Yep. I fish the Island pretty exclusively and 9 times out of 10 and easterly wind = no fish. No idea why...

Re: Punch bowl
Probably the most over-rated and dangerous spot to rock fish in Victoria.
Not much chance of survival once you've been in the water for more than a few minutes, particularly in those conditions.

Re: Best and Worst Value, reels edition
Penn Slammers & Spinfisher SSMs - solid and reliable. Fin-Nor Lethal (all sizes) - also solid, smooth and reliable. Fin-Nor Offshore - some might say they're a bit agricultural, but they're some of the most robust reels you can get. Shimano FX-2000 & 4000 - cheap as chips, but I've caught more on th...

Re: NBN plans...
Same boat here... My current Telstra Bigpond cable plan expires at the start of October... It's a bit annoying to be honest, as my current plan has been great. I get 130Mbps all day and 200GB of data (never reached my limit), plus home phone, all for $79 (plus calls) per month. With NBN I can't get ...
