I,ve cleaned a lot of squid. Never keep tubes and always slit up the side and open up to a flat surface to clean. Yesterday I watched two blokes do exactly that and then proceed with another step I,ve never thought of. The extra step was rubbing squid vigourously with wet sand,both sides to remove t...

Bring up PFD on internet and find checksheet, print,do the check, sign off and keep for examination as required.
Assuming this is what you mean for “signoff” sheet.

I have fitted a rod like a steel knitting needle into a hollow rod and pushed the end piece back over like a sleeve, secured with the appropiate glue. A good trim up gave me a usable rod, not the go to as someone said but still quite adequate for Flatties and such. Depends on the thickness at the br...
