Re: Sorrento Pier 22/06/2019

well story goes 2nd cast try to bang it out far and hits the rod tip and wack rod ends up in 3 pieces. Cheers Matari That to me sounds like user error!! casting extra weight than whats been recommended has to be done with a bit more caution. most certainly not banging out a cast with a chin weight ...

Re: FREE OPEN DAYS AT SNOBS CREEK HATCHERY

The Snobs Creek hatchery built by the Andrews Labor Government  Wow, Daniel Andrews must be the nation's longest serving politician. To my knowledge Sobs Creek Hatchery was built during the 1950s. Truedogz I did work experience there 30yrs ago and it had seen a few changes from the original s...

Re: Ideal Sinker Weight - Landbased Bottom Saltwater

Try a pulley rig https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cVveheULTqc Thank you. I did my research on pulley rig years back, didn't stick with it. Mainly because I like to tie my own rig from scratch, and it requires some tackles not sold in Kmart. Anyway, thanks for reminding me. You have peaked my interes...

Re: 2019 Melbourne Boat Show

I too just got back from the boat show. Great day out picked up a few bits and pieces but the new boats are way out of my price range. Some very nice boats I loked the Evolution boats they seem very well built and have a deep hull. https://www.marinebusiness.com.au/news/business-as-usual-says-evolu...

Re: 2019 Melbourne Boat Show

Typical day at the boat show I guess hahaha came home more baffled than I went in. It’s good to catch up with a few ppl and I grabbed a cpl things from rigmaster that I was wanting.
Probably would have been more productive with a mate that fishes rather than a wife who really has no interest lol

Was going to start a new thread regarding my day out but thought better of it anyway ill ramble about it here. For a kid from the country a trip to the city isn't a regular occurrence especially when I hadn't been to the boat show since Winga was trying to sell his Mcflashas if you can remember the...
