Re: First fly fishing lesson
Hi Time Poor, To answer some of your questions I am based in whittlesea but am happy to travel up to 30mins for free than a $10-$30 travel fee after that. I normally like to hold the lesseons at Yarrambat casting pool which is right beside the lake. I can provide gear if needed. I totally agree with...

Re: First fly fishing lesson
$200 for a day for one person. But a full days casting is a lot and I would suggest 4-6 hours. We went through a lot on Sunday and by memory it only took 5 hours. So 5 hours is plenty of time to go through basics unless you want a lesson that goes into thing in a lot more detail.

I only charge $25 an hour and half that for a second person if you choose to bring a friend.

Re: Lake Purrumbete
Thanks for all the kind comments. Yeah we were using a drogue but the wind was very strong and sometimes the drogue would not set properly at times.

Lake Purrumbete
On Thursday, Friday and Saturday I fished Lake Purrumbete. It was pretty windy every especially Friday which made thing a little difficult but it was a great few days. On the Thursday I arrived and went out fishing with a friend in his boat. For that day we got about 4 Chinook Salmon in the boat and...
