I fished Werribee South breakwall Saturday night a d was getting pinkies flat out as well. Only one of legal size though, but there's definitely a lot of them out there.
Nice work btw.

Thanks mate, but I might handball this one to purple since he was able to name it. I'm out at the moment with the family and can't really find a photo of any particular spot.DougieK wrote:Nice work shazz, you're up!

Re: Help fishing Lakes Entrance Area
I fished in the lakes on my grandfather's tinny yesterday, anchored up at quite a few spots and were getting lots of little bites on all the baits we tried; peeled prawn, mussels, and whitebait. Only one fish landed all day, a small grass whiting at about 18cm. Fished lake tyres today after hearing ...

Quite busy at the moment though and every second weekend is out of the question for me as I have my kids, so finding the right time can be tough. I'm in Western subur...

Re: Respect
Nice fish mate! I've only ever caught one of those before, earlier this year off the Werribee South rocks and I had no idea what it was so I threw it back. Later found out that they're great eating so I was a bit disappointed I didn't take it home for a feed, but I don't feel at all bad about lettin...

My Nonna uses the carcases to make fish brodo (Italian broth soup). I think it's gross lol but at least she fries up the fillets for us to enjoy.
