The cutting and grinding out the old stuff, the layup of new glass is all fairly quick and easy (itchy though). It's the touch-ups, the rubbing back, the retouch-up, rub back, spray, touch up, rub back, final spray, rub back that's the worst

Basically yes. Although I enjoyed life more than I should have in that time unless all gains since are eradicated in a bit of a **** you to the inequalities of the whole ordeal.

200 wet/dry, 400 wet/dry, 800 wet/dry and MAYBE it'll save the time and expense of grinding it back and spraying before doing the whole rub down all over again.
