It's just disturbances around the transducer, prop wash, air running under the boat, the actual movement of water around the boat etc. it's a non issue. Either use the electronic trickery purple suggested, but that can affect readings, reduce gain/sensitivity so it's not as pronounced, again affects...

Every boat rides better than a dominator. The problem with the dominators is they were only rated to 115hp but everyone would overpower them and then complain when they split the hulls. Because the rotor and the spools are physically larger, adding weight. Not everyone wants the weight or needs the extra 80m or more of line capacity
