Cut as much material off at the base of the tail as you can. It'll give it some action, just means you might have a tail bitten off more easily

Floated a balloon out with a mate for a few hours last night with the favourable wind. Not a touch. Did pick up 1 occy, 1 cuttlefish and 4 squid while killing time.
