Re: Daiwa T3 1016SH TW baitcast reel, worth selling?

If you're looking for a budget baitcaster, you really cant go past the Abu- Garcia Pro Max 3, they are an exceptionally good reel for the price. I use one for a lot of my saltwater kayak fishing as it wont hurt the pocket too much when it finally sees too much salt.

Re: Port Melbourne Snapper

Good stuff Alex.
I wont fish in there with anything less than 15lb leader. If the big fella's are around I'll go to 30lb, even then I'll bust off at least half the hook-ups.

Re: Planning for Murchison/Shepparton cod

Good report mate, at least you gave it a crack.

I've found that dropping water levels mean the Cod shut down, rising levels seem to bring them on really well. That's just my observation, there'll be some who would argue it I'd imagine.

Re: Need mulloway tip.

You're probably best trying to Google all that info, there's some good articles to be found there. I doubt you'll get much help on forums: Jewies in the Yarra are a closely guarded secret by those who fish it regularly. Some fishos have put in years of effort to be able to confidently fish for them,...

Re: Berwick Springs Redfin Population ?

I've fished it a lot for some huge Carp, caught a few other species but never a Redfin.
