I have about 40 to 50 rods. All have a purpose, multiplies for bait fishing, and nearly all Nitros. There is no other rods. lol
Oh and a **** load of reels to match the rods. LOL

What about abu garcia revo 3s. They have been making baitcasters longer than the rest. They are lighter and have internals i reckon.
The revo premiers and mgx's are very nice reels lighter than the shimano ci4+ chronarchs.

Yes keep your rod tip up, nearly 45 degree for fast sections and try keeping the spinner at the same speed as the water. deeper slower sections drop it down. Small streams can only support a certain population of trout. If too many are taken from a stream, big and small trout they can be easily overfished, and the trout in that stream will be lost.
