Re: Murray River Algae

Can tell you as of Sun 1/5 until Thur 5/5 that Edward River from Moulamein to the Murray River junction was up sh*t creek and the Murray was pretty green all the way from there to towns just before Swan Hill. For 4 full days of lines in the water, we only got bites (not hook ups or serious hits, jus...

Re: OH Were from Tigerland

As a doggies supporter dating/living with a tigers fan, our household gets VERY loud during footy season.. and that's just me abusing the tv! He is very passionate but very fickle. Before him I never knew people could literally walk out and go do something else when their team drops off by 2 goals w...

Re: Big gav n lil Luke's kyalite trip 2016

Was reading out the reports to my boyf as we're heading up that way next week and couldn't help but laugh about the lip grips going in with the cod. Only because it's something one of us would do
Glad to hear you guys enjoyed your trip away!

Slow start to your day but geeez it would have felt brilliant landing that fish after all that rod-teasing it was doing.

Re: Mill Parks Lakes - South Morang

Just stay away from the poultry!! Hooked myself a swan the one time I went down there coz it swam across my line and tangled itself before I could reel in and goddammit was that a huge fight. No matter where I went they followed me around the lake so gave up and caught up with another forumer. So je...

Re: CAMPING BETWEEN MURCHISON AND SHEPPARTON

Toolamba has a scout camp on the river surrounded by plenty of random spots to the left and right, enter park via Moira Drive, Kialla West and head straight-leftish (main track to us bcoz we usually head that direction every time lol). Can be busy if hippy fest is on. Sorry if the pic is too big, on...

We've headed back up to the same spot for 2 nights with 2 different mates so hopefully we have some more luck.
Will pass on your night tip to the fellas, BM. I'm happy to catch anything except a cold :water:

Re: Toolamba

That whole stretch of river from Murchison to Kialla is good to hit up for a session whether its morning, arvo or even night (when the bigger ones come out to play). We usually end up closer to Kialla.
Worms, cheese, shrimp, corn & yabbies all work.
