They probably don't care about the 3 guys, but the 3 have a lot of influence which they can use to vote against the ban. Many small towns in Victoria rely on fishing and boating to survive. There's also quite a few boat manufacturers locally. It will be very hard to fully ban both these activities...

There's too much for the boating and fishing industry to loose if this goes ahead.
I highly doubt they will let this happen.
Imagine worsteling, Kramer guesty and the likes going out of business.
Don't think so.
But I've been proven wrong many a time of course..

I just had some success on the whiting myself albeit in ppb not lakes. The bigger one do take some line.. good fun when they are around in numbers..

We stepped in at Lakes on the way to mallacoota for the Vic bream Grand final.
Tried for some whiting on lures, few dropped fish and couple of bream as bycatch.
Seems like they are just starting to come in now..

Did tou save those marks. Those are def 2 smaller sized snapper and few pinkies as well by the looks of it. What sebb said is a good option. Browse through old magazines or even this site and get some gps marks and enter them. Into your sounder. Alternatively join one of the subscription sites like ...
