small stream exploring
tried for some trout in a tributry of a tributry of the upper yarra in the hope of finding some water that hasnt been too affected by all the recent rain and i found success! I was there this time last year. Didn't see a sign of fish in the ovens but tributary streams like morses creek produced browns and rainbows.

This time of the year the plenty is a lot harder to fish with lures from personal exp. but in the warmer months I've caught reddies from greensborough up to Doreen. Shallower pools with running water around rocks seems to be the best spot for them.

Most of the reddies I catch in the plenty are In areas less than a metre deep. Especially around rocks logs and near running water.

I got a 1 tiny reddie just down from there on Thursday . Got him a shallow pool on a squidgy fish
