Re: LED light lures

A mate loves em for cod. But change out the trebles if there’s a chance at a metery. He lost a decent one due to the trebles opening.

Re: Building in a rural area

Perch in the river and inlet. Jews in the same area. Gummies and standard estuary species in the lake. Salmon on the beaches. Surfing. Patrolled beaches. It’s not all about offshore. But nothing wrong with beach launching walkerville and best of all. No crowds like Phillip island.

Re: Building in a rural area

Too many small fish around bairnesdale. Would be low on my list of tree change places. But if I was going to head there it would be Paynesville on newlands arm. Stuff all distance from bairnesdale and right on the lakes. Paynesville, what a suggestion. Boating mecca, holiday mecca, but limited fish...

Just nice to hold a big knob I suppose. You’d know the feeling surely?

Daz that’s right. I reckon it balances better on the type of rod you’ll cast up to 70gms

Re: shimano stradic ci4 4000 vs daiwa bg 3000

They shouldn’t really be compared because they aren’t in the same class. Bg is a lower model. I would go the bg to save the cash. Provided the retrieve ratio is high enough and the knob is bigger I own and use a Stradic ci4 for surf spinning and find the knob too small. The buomaster 5k I use now is...

But during my kitchen Reno I bent a cheap jimmy bar like a fuggen pretzel. sh*t steel is a waste of time. Re: Bungalow Demolition

Get one of these and the smaller one plus a half decent hammer. Place the narrow end between anything you want separated. Smash it in. Hang off it. Let the leverage do the work for you. Work systematically one end to the other popping the nails and you’ll have it apart fast enough. https://www.bunni...

Re: Fuel useage good or bad for a 2 stroke.

FYI guys. Fuel companies are putting less “preservatives” in fuel these days. Gone are the days of 3 months shelf life. I believe they are making the move to reduce people’s ability to store bulk fuel. Whether terrorist related or not I don’t know. As an aside. I did a quick google of my outboard an...
