New Boats for Water Police

Not sure if anyone saw this article yesterday in the Herald: With just the hoons on Jetski's/Wave Runners they should pay these off in a season  http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/victoria/nearly-3000-penalty-notices-issued-in-victoria-water-police-blitz/news-story/377a16dfabaacc7faefa059b2ef8...

Re: Jells Park?

I go riding my bike on the trail through there often & take the dog & I've yet to see anyone catch anything there ( & I've been going there for almost 20 years).
But as Dougie says there Must be Carp there.
You just need good data connection or a good book :-D

Re: Shooters, Fishers and Farmers Party Victoria Rep

I assume by "& similar" you mean other pest animals, plus hunting for food (my protein is mostly taken with the rifle else caught with the rod), and all of the shooting sports? Agree on the self protection thing, generally speaking. I got no problem with eating what you kill, can't st...

Re: Shooters, Fishers and Farmers Party Victoria Rep

Personally having used firearms in high school & military I don't have a problem with them. My biggest concern is who will end up owning them to commit criminal acts? Would gun related violence escalate like America? Apart from using a gun to control wild dogs or similar, the only other reason t...

Re: Are solar pannels worth it?

Having read & seen documentaries on ABC & SBS on how much pollution is generated from manufacturing solar panels please don't "claim/yodel " how much you or I are saving the planet because it's just all "smoke & mirrors" (illusion). Some good points here worth ponderi...

Re: Sea Sherpa North Shore Challenge 28/01/17

Yep I agree with match fitness. I go to gym 3 times a week & jog 5-6 days a week. I try fish once a week. Hoping to hit WP again after trying PPB last weekend. Personally I think WP is Waaay better than PPB. Yep planning to be at Portland next year. I was there last year with Ian, yourself, Shan...

Re: Sea Sherpa North Shore Challenge 28/01/17

From what I read from Thursday (with Kieran's Tuna hookup) to the end it sounded like an awesome event.
I'm hoping to be able to make it next year for NSC'18 :-D
I'm still (Stirring :o_0: ) sticking to my guns and say you need more skill to fish from a yak than a boat
