Do loop droppers work well ? ATM I've just been using a 3-way swivel

The salmon will be whereever they want. On a calmer day 35 could work. Check out some surfcasting tutorials for ideas on how to get some more distance. You'll get fish there no matter what the time of day. Last catch there was a 49cm sambo bang 11am of one of the hottest days of the year. Dawn or Dusk have been hits more often for me though. Thanks for the advice, was wondering is it good idea to fish Gunns during the day ? i.e 10am till 5pm ?

Yeah the window was a South Southerly, waves were wild.

What size sinker do you normally recommend to use at Guns ?
