Moggs Creek 30/1

Fished Moggs Creek this morning from 6-7:30 (high tide), throwing metals chasing salmon. Started at the mouth of the creek and worked my way West. The big swell rolling in made it pretty difficult going, and hard to identify gutters and holes, which was further compounded by my lack of beach knowled...

Re: Lorne pier

As per previous post, between the seal and other fishos your better off finding a nice rock ledge (weather permitting) or even off the surf or local rivers where you have all the space you need and don't need to stress about other people casting over you. Any recommendations for beaches around ther...

Re: Surf rod and reel combo spin

Picked up a Sienna FE 4000 from Anaconda for $30, but yet to pair with a rod.

Any ideas of regular sales that BCF/Anaconda or the like might have on the horizon? Aside from Boxing Day!

Re: Surf rod and reel combo spin

Bump!

Just wondering if the Shimano Catana Combo is still seen as the way to go, or if there is better out there?

Budget of around $100-$150 give or take

Re: LAKES ENTRANCE LAND BASED

Thanks for the feedback.

Ended up having a minor set back this morning and missed my opportunity. Tyers was certainly the go to following the feedback from this site and elsewhere, so at least I’ll know for next time!

Thanks again
