Yer it looks a lot diffirent on google. Id say it must be shallow and full of snags/reeds probably pretty painfull to fish to be honest lol. It must be similar to the billabong next to the venneto club on manningham rd ( no fish just snakes) Might go down and give the yarra around the corner a crack...

Banyule flats. Just google earthed the car park around the other side and the sign says the flats.

Hi all. Just took the dog for a walk down the back of viewbank/rosanna and found the "banyule swamp" On google earth it looks empty but in reality its a pretty impressive lake. I had a bit of a walk around and i couldnt see any signs saying no fishing but there is a fence the whole way around it. Ju...

I did bagged out on my first session on the squid to. Have never caught one since haha. That was drifting in a boat tho

I ended up down at tooradin boat ramp. Only got the one salmon. It looked like glass out on the bay super jealous of all the boats going out. After there i gave warneet pier a crack. Got 1 small flatty and then got raped by toadys for an hour. That was enough for me back home now to plan a better tr...
