Re: Any sambos off the surf yet?
Gunnamatta seems to be firing up, been busy lately though Nope. Gunnamatta was almost deserted yesterday. I beat the place to froth yesterday morning. Not a touch. Some bait soakers tried early but failed to catch anything. Others just dumped their left over baits by the toilet which was annoying.

Re: EOFY tackle Clean up
Dear Sir Snappalot, I have finally overcome my fears of the rocks and the wonky knee have all but recovered - can I have the stradic reels you mentioned? Happy to come and forage through your garage to help you find them. I haven't managed to get anything of late (probably due to the lack of time s...

Damn! I am missing a lot of the tip part and had some damaged guides. 1 x shimano Starlo stix 10'6" surf spin 1 x shimano Starlo stix 9 ft surf spin, missing ceramic rings. Probably better tossed away 3 x shimano 762 pier rods. I used these in st kilda for pinkies 1 x shimano spectrum 662 1 x shiman...

EOFY tackle Clean up
I moved house and found freaking tons of fishing rods from my previous years of collecting gear. Unfortunately, I lost my tackle bag during the move. Inside it were 3 Shimano 10000 sized reels and every terminal tackles, lures, jigs a tackle rat should have. To get rid of the bad memories, I am clea...

Re: Show us your purchases!
I was feeling bored and with $600 to spare from Company wellness allowance, I grabbed this for no other reasons than using the money. I have no use for this at the moment. Stupid tackle obsession. :( With 10% price beat guarantee, I took home this shiny reel for $278 from already discounted price of...

Re: Budget spin rod and reel under $70 Luring soft plastics
I would go 10 lb. What reel did you get? Shimano FX 2500 reel, its identical to the sienna except it has one brushing instead of a ball bearing in the sienna. https://www.troutresource.com/2021/09/09/shimano-sienna-fg-vs-shimano-fx-fc/ That will do it.
