...I managed to wet a line at Kings Billabong for about an hour and a half...got one carp about 30cm. Bloody bull ants were driving me crazy, so packed up and went and had a cold beer.

G'day...
Picked up a few rods from a clearing sale, but they need a bit of work. (Missing/broken guides, new clear coats etc)
Does anyone know anybody in my general area who may be able to fix them up at a reasonable price?
I am in Mount Evelyn.

I'm heading up there too next week (Sat to Thurs) with the darl and the kids. I'm hoping to wet a line too....we are staying near Kings Billabong..but I'll give Lock Island a bit of a go. Tight lines Chris..!!!

Just wondering where-abouts along the beach you fish from at Balnarring??
I usually wet a line at Somers on weekends and holidays, but im tired of getting bugger all there... Bangg
