Doesn't look like a prop to me and think that would be extremely unlikely anyway. Looks like baton marks on top of its head to subdue it and a bad first attempt at bleeding. To me this smells of very amateur, no brained fisherman that worked out too late they had no idea what to do with a shark that...

Winter I wear kokatat pants with thick wool socks underneath.
I also use them for my night surf bait fishing and are my winter kayak pants too so serve a few purposes.

I don't think you can beat grapnel or breakaway sinkers for holding bottom in the surf.

I use the Ducks nuts too and they work identically to the ezy rig, they have a smaller diameter than an ezy rig so find it's easier to get weed off. Line twist only really happens with both when you wind back in fast or are getting crabbed I find

Depends how far you need to cast and where your fishing.
A pulley rig is my goto rig for distance and WP rig if distance isn't important. I remove the clip always on ezy rigs and tie on light mono to the sinker so that breaks before my leader.
