Night time is when they are more active but they are not afraid of light on the water if anything I think it attracts them.

The Game Management Authority (GMA) has outlined the arrangements for the 2018 duck season, including changes made by the Government to hunting regulations. The 2018 season will commence on Saturday 17 March, and will last 12 weeks, closing on Monday 11 June. The bag limit will remain at the standar...

I have about a dozen of them but not willing to part with them sentimental value. One still has the bottom part of the leg from a fox that got caught and he bit through it overnight. That was probably 35+ years ago I was only a kid.
