The crabs are still in PPB. I was snorkelling 2 weeks back off Sorrento and pulled the boat up over what looked like a reefy section in about 3m. Maybe ? ....Sounds like your better off buying one of those remote control boats (about 80cm to 1 m long) that you hook your bait and line too, drive it out , release the line andbait via remote, and drive the remote control boat back in , they even have fish finders , burley bucket releasers and gp...

Fish anywhere along the beach on NSW coast atm mate and you'll find sharks ! (mainly of a night best shark/surf fishing on the beach imo) . During the day look for the bait balls in the waves and gutters and berley up, just try to keep away from the surfers or they become bait too , lol . Up north w...

How i would love to catch some crabs :P In all honestly though I wish there was places you could catch them in VIC without having to put out pots. Yeah, not many crabs out in vic these days that walk the mangroves of a night. They were all green crabs and sandcrabs anyway , never got really big. Us...

Welcome back Rixter! After eating mudcrabs, blue swimmers just don't cut it anymore! Do you eat it with any sauce or plain? Chilli mudcrab is really popular in Malaysia and Singapore! You should try it for yourself if you haven't already! My other favourites are baked mudcrab with indian curry leaf...

Hmmm , I heard something about Barra being released into the Hazelwood pondage. As mentioned above , there has always been tonnes of 'red devil' tropical 'fishtank' fish in that pond / warm pond water released due to the water used to cool the powerplant there; as most of you know anyway... Nice fish mate , I lived around lower Gippsland for a few years around those areas. Some great freshwater fishing and nice spiny crays out there too in those areas. cheers ;)
