I went with the UE Boom as well. It's waterproof and in 12 mths using it in the boat I haven't had any issues. Will last a 12 hr day on the water and still has plenty of charge. Of course it will last less if you play it at full volume for hours on end.

Yep they are $1249.00 without a transducer and $1299.00 with.

I would have removed the seats as well. As much clear deck space on a fishing boat is a premium.

We've fished around that area a bit and always picked up good flatties on Gulp Turtleback worms and Nemisis however we are in a bout. Saying that though, some spots were very close to shore. The calamari are in good number at the moment.I think we are very lucky that we can usually come back with a feed of cal or flatties if the target specie don't want to play.Our water ways are in pretty good nick.
