Looking forward to this yrs boat show, now I FINALLY have a few pennies behind me. This is the big score ...

Re: NSW Mud Crab

Welcome back Rixter! After eating mudcrabs, blue swimmers just don't cut it anymore! Do you eat it with any sauce or plain? Chilli mudcrab is really popular in Malaysia and Singapore! You should try it for yourself if you haven't already! My other favourites are baked mudcrab with indian curry leaf,...

Re: Warm night produces whitings 6/1/17

Im happy to be proven wrong but $14 a kg for live pippies seems well below mar...

Re: who want to come out on the boat tomorrow?

Great catch guys and cheers for the report purple rain! Good effort on 'plastics' but I'm not so sure if you can call Berkeley gulp SP. Speaking from a molecular standpoint, I think it's closer to a potatoe than a plastic. Did you keep the seargant baker?

Re: Cumberland River whiting - totally out-fished by the locals

Hey mate, im just guessing here but i would say if they are locals they would have been using spew worms or something similar, you can pump the worms around the area and they will usually out fish store bought pippies by a long way, might explain why they were catching a lot more. I think the OP is...

Re: Wilson's Prom/ 24/12

Great report and pics! May I ask what's the reason you have a clean white towel on the bow of your yak? Is there a live bait well underneath? The insulated fish bag under it doesn't do a great job of keeping the fish cold on warm days so I put a towel over it which I wet periodically to make sure t...
