I haven’t had a bite on chicken, but they seem to love mozzarella. The key is to melt it down, spread it over paper. Leave in fridge for a few hours, then it’s nice and hard to cut in pieces, hard for the fish to take off the hook

Jan juc has been producing also, however i had a try there on sat afternoon in perfect conditions, didnt see anyone land a fish/get a bite go figure. it has been very quite on the lorne side

Bancoora Beach has been fishing well on the last 2 hours of the high tide for Salmon if you are after a closer option on the surf coast
