Fishfinder for Kayak
Tossing up between the Lowrance Hook reveal 5x, the Lowrance Hook2 7x and the Garmin Striker Plus 5cv. Any tips or recommendations would be appreciated!

As far as it takes lol. Could be 50m, could be 5km, it has been 15km on occasion You can use the Navionics Web App on your phone's internet browser to get a rough idea of how deep you are. The depth is usually accurate within a couple of meters. If you pay for the app on your phone it'll show where...

Port Phillip Bay
Just wondering how far out people paddle to on their kayaks for an ideal depth? I don't have a sounder so am never sure how far out I should be.
Some good recommendations for locations between Beaumaris and Elwood would be greatly appreciated also

They're a US made kayaks that are well regarded over there but not very common here. Certainly nothing like the Chinese-y crap K2F sell under their own brand. My suspicion is that they are designed for bass fishing on lakes rather than on the ocean so when they say they're 'stable' I don't know if ...

Anyone know or paddled these kayaks at all? Looking to upgrade and see kayaks2fish have these for sell. Was also looking at the Native Slayer Pro 12 xc but looks like it will be a bit heavy for my needs.
