Even still...a snapper charter only pulling a few up to 50cm is concerning. Isn’t this the snapper spawning season?
I’m going to give Corio bay another shot. Will pass on results.

Anyone doing any good lately? Spoke to a nice fellow last week who claims that he catches ‘tons’ of snapper off Clifton springs. Only place I’ve really seen anyone fishing for snapper seems to be the Bend. Is it worth keep trying around corio bay or should we go over other side to my Martha etc? I l...

Friday 30-8-19 Clifton springs this morn. Magnificent weather, rigs right wind right tide right. No fish! Even drift fishing right now at 3:45 pm and no flathead? Been in at 3-5 meters and couldn’t pick up one whiting with 5 different spots. No one else catching either from what we can see. Everyone...
