As everyone said, its better to get a more expensive but cheap multi piece. You'd risk breaking it on bigger carp then its $30 wasted. Put $5-10 aside when you can save it, when youve got enough wait for a sale and pull the trigger on buying one

Ive got the slingshot 1-3kg 3 piece. I bought a year or two ago thinking it was a 4pc (how its advertised) but the rod itself is actually 3 but comes with 2 tips.

As an update - all the skirts are fine and all the plastics showed signs of melting after the first week. After two they had taken the color of the zman on and had a thick "gel" where they were in contact with the zman. So i wont be mixing sps and ill be sticking with zmans exclusively for spinnerba...
