Outdoor fishing pants - suggestions

Hi - im in the market for some better suited pants for fishing this winter to replace my unsuitable standard kmart cloth cargo pants. Have been looking around online and have a general idea (tactical pants seem to be what to look for), but would appreciate any suggestions from those that have bought...

Good stuff rb85 putting in the effort, pushing through and congrats on the catch and subsequent catches. Good to read and relate to those those putting in the yards, sharing the empty trips then getting eventual success

Have some bait sessions to get your confidence and enjoyment back but keep at it Chris, the yarra is definitely a bloody hard lure fishery compared to other trout or cod waters. This is from experience and talking to others - i reckon if you put the same time into some of the nearby trout rivers you...
