Anyone know if you are allowed to fish in Jack Roper reserve? I haven't been there at all and I know there was a big fish kill a couple of years back? You guys reckon there are any redfin in there?

Has anyone ever tried using Savage Gear Mayfly Nymphs for trout? I saw a couple of them at my local BCF and was thinking about chasing some stocked trout using them. I have seen people have success with the strike tiger nymphs before but never seen anyone use the savage gear ones.

Anyone fished at Yarrambat recently? I have been 3 times and have not even gotten one bite. I was using worms and powerbait on a running sinker rig and I also casted a spinner around. Anyone know if there are any Roach in Darebin Creek or the Merri creek? I used to catch roach down stream of the Coburg lake water fall all the way around to the back of the Coburg pool. Anyone know if there are any Roach in Darebin Creek or the Merri creek? I'm sure there would be. I know there are heaps of Roach in the plenty river around Greensborough. I normally found there were better numbers of them around where there drains are and some faster water. Thanks for the info mate...
