sorry to burst your bubble guys... i just read the body corporate papers. "Fishing is strictly prohibited throughout these estates." Bit of a drag as I'm sitting at the lake with my rods ready.

The lake has been cleaned over the past decade. If not, it wouldn't be able to support populations of rainbow trout and silver perch. Surely, the gov't wouldn't stock the lake with ready to eat fish if it were polluted...we hope...... :fish22: :water:

anyone tried Waterways or Mordy Creek lately

This area consists of several reasonable sized lakes. I heard there have been past reports of carp. Has anyone tried it recently or up to try it out?

if I'm going to drive 2.5 hours, I probably want to target something tastier. However, hats off to those who take up arms in the war against carp.

that's a great read. You should go back to Albert Park. They've released thousands of perch and cod fingerlings. They will be a decent catch one day... but not today...

extra small hooks on the high tide at the Patterson river. You get whole schools coming in, plus beam and eel.
