Kirk’s Point Ramp??
Hoping someone can give me some more info on the Kirks Point ramp. I can see from the pictures it’s pretty basic, but interested to know how shallow it is on a low tide and if there are any hazards to be aware of.

4hp Johnson issues??
Hi all. I’ve just fired up an old (1978) Johnson 4hp after 15 years. Starts immediately and runs well...EXCEPT, the throttle won’t hold. When I pull on the lever to rev it up it just slips back to ‘stop’ until it cuts out. The only way I can keep it running it to physically hold the throttle in plac...

Fishing trip ruined by back injury!
Was heading out with the boat on the back of the dual cab on Friday morning. Pulling in to a mates driveway I hit a pot hole and the boat jumped off the towball! Just to clarify - I’m just wanting to use the existing power cable. Happy to replace the transducer and cable.

Fish finder power plug compatibility.
I’m looking to get a new fish finder. I currently have an older simrad with a 4 pin round power plug. If possible I’m wanting to get something new with the same plug so I don’t have to rewire it. I went to a store today to check it out but the guy was BCFin hopeless. Plug looks like this https://ibb...

Re: What was that?!
Ended up getting an up close look - looked to be a bronze, must have be at least 2+ meters! Incredible to watch as it circled the boat and went on its way. Has no chance of bringing it in with our gear.

What was that?!
Was fishing Coles Channel after dark and hooked up multiple times - would have it on for a bit then a massive commotion, thrashing on the surface and a clean bust off. Any ideas??
