Go to the end of sandy point road where all the cars are and people launch their boats, walk around the flats and pump bass yabbies until you've reached your limit. The fish there love bass yabbies to bits and i've bagged out on whiting with my mates a couple times. Keep them in a bucket with an ox...

Shallow Inlet Fishing
Was wondering if I could get some tips for Shallow Inlet at Sandy Point near Wilson’s Prom. I went there earlier and had some bites which felt like possible flatty bites but I was wondering if there’s any thing else I should know before going in the morning

We went down to Karkarook Park today that got stocked with 2000 Rainbow Trout earlier this week and from the moment we got there to the moment we left we would see schools of about 30 and fish would jump all over the lake 5m from the bank or in the middle of the lake but they wouldn’t take powerbait...

Does anyone know if Fisheries are stocking trout these school holidays because on the fisheries website it says 0 for almost very waterway. Me and my mates were going to head down to Lilydale but we need to know if its getting stocked.

Just Regarding some tips on Brighton I fished there with my mates and we landed 15 small pinkie on Barracuda as Bait. I’m Heading down again and was just wondering what other species can be caught from the marina side of the pier, I’m bringing burley and lures and pilchards.
