Is this a baby octopus
Hey guys,
Last night I was at Blairgowrie pier and caught a baby octopus??
Can someone confirm that this is an edible octopus, because this is the first time i have seen a live one, and just concerned if its not an edible one because its like a coffee colour (still alive in the pic) - see attached.

Re: Squid bags and throw backs
When i say absurd, I am referring to entering your premises. I wouldnt allow cops into my premises, let alone fisheries.
I understand the bag limits, i wasnt referring to that when i said absurd.

Re: Squid bags and throw backs
Yes, 10 is more than enough, agreed.
Just quering the technical aspect of how fisheries perceive bag limits.
With regards to throwing them back in.
A older gentleman told me they are damaged by rhe jigs after being caught and is illegal to throw them back in.

Squid bags and throw backs
Hi there, Does anyone know what the legal limit of squid is per day. I know its 10 in victoria, but what happens if you start at 7pm-11:30pm and you bag 10. Then you come back at 12am that night (theoretically the next day) and bag out again till 2am. Is this legal? Also, are you able to throw squid...

Re: Squid calamari fridge
Funny you say about drying squid.
My mates neigbours use to do it all the time, until my mate called the council on them because of the fish stench travelling into his backyard.
They ceased drying it after that as it was classified as a nuisance.
