I mostly use Tassie Devils but also the TT blades which cast really well.

I've found singles have an almost 100% hold on rate compared to trebles which tend to drop fish more often...especially if they jump. Hook up rate is acceptable, I mostly use them trolling and casting for trout.

What would u guys do and what is the most humane way without the obvious (a gun) You would be up sh*t creek if you used a gun mate. Cheers mate, hehe.....seems I'm not alone in creaking and groaning in the mornings. Usually takes me half an hour huffing up a hill looking for Sambar before I loosen up.

Good stuff as usual Adrian. I notice most of your trips begin fishing mid morning or later....I'm usually on my way home by then and all action is usually shut down. Is it the cooler weather that allows the later starts in Tassie?
