In that case, the Yamashita expert, Eisuke, is wrong. He says that they dont use scent on their jigs because it does not work.

Tried hookbend park and above the weir with corn and worms 1 m under a float for a couple of hours. Not a single bite.

Interesting. I was seeing bottom at 2-3 m. Did not think there would be squid so shallow so had no faith. Will take your advice on try 2.5-3.5 next time.

Was out today from 8-10. Hit RAF, campbell cove 4-5 m. Nothing. Water was super clear though. Maybe I should have gone deeper or further out.

Try ginger. It will help with the nausea.

You can take ginger coated with dark chocolate, ginger beer, or ginger snaps. Or if you want a more potent mixture, just eat some ginger slices or make ginger tea. Good thing is that there are no side effects with ginger.
