Love reading your reports. Almost makes me want to move to Tassie. Alas i am moving back to Coffs Harbour on Monday. Can't say I will miss Melbourne as it's a rat race. Going back for the lifestyle. Oh and the fishing!

I love this hoodie and the picture on it. Buy all sorts of branded gear and this is just part of it. Only get quality when the price is right. Some people like it and some don't. Each to their own.
In all fishing scenarios you are only as strong as you're weakest link. If at any time you have line being taken by the fish, you're drag is the most important part of the set up. Can't beat carbon fiber washers for strength and smoothness.

I have seen this happen at Patterson Lakes. Novices with brand new boat and tow vehicle. Took safety chain off and going down the ramp the quick release let go. Bumpy ramp and no idea!
