Yep, there're pretty much a go to for lure fishing for trout especially in somewhere you've never fished.

I'm not exactly a newbie to fishing but i am pretty new to fly fishing! I've just got a new 6wt fly rod but im having troubly catching... anything. I'd like to catch a redfin on fly but i'm not completely sure what flies to use or how to use them for reddie. Help, please!

Mako make pretty good polarized sunnies, very good for spotting!

Caught 7 reddies in about 2 hours all around 23-30cm at Cosgrave Reservoir not long ago, i would recommend going there, good little lake but you're not allowed to put any boat on it or even wade in it which kinda sucks :down:
